I am an ECE with Infant/Toddler and Special Needs certification and hold a BA with distinction in Child & Youth Care. With over 30 years’ experience in the field, I spent 20 years working in First Nations communities developing programs and mentoring community members to take over the programs.
I have published dozens of articles in the field and wrote the Mentoring Manual for the Aboriginal Infant Development Programs of BC. I received a national award for developing the concept of and aboriginal addendum to the internationally recognized Early Childhood Environment Scales (ECERS) and a member of a working work developing an addendum to the ECERS for the Aboriginal Head Start Association of BC.
I am a regular presenter at Provincial Conferences, as well as traveling throughout the province to present at regional conferences and facilitate day long team building sessions.
