Amanda was born in Bella Coola and has lived in a few other places in BC before settling in the Comox Valley in 2007. She discovered her love for working with children through taking care of her nephew. Amanda took ECE at North Island College in 2016 and has been working at Beaufort ever since. At Beaufort Centre, she has had the opportunity to work in all three rooms as well as work as a support staff member. In 2020, Amanda took on the role of supervisor in the Orca Room. When Amanda is not at work you can find her lifting weights at the gym or practicing bass guitar at home. She is very passionate about music and is always eager to talk about music and hear your recommendations.
